Thieves steal three big cats from breeding farm in Riyadh

#bigcats #riyadh #dartgun #securitycamera This gang of thieves is no ordinary gang – they have gone in for stealing three big cats from a breeding farm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 16 February 2015.
The three animals are a tiger, a leopard and a jaguar and the thieves smashed security cameras, disabled the alarm and knocked out the animals with a dart gun before carting them away from the breeding farm. They left behind empty syringes on the floor of the empty cages.
The owner is devastated because the animals were worth more than £100,000 and were probably stolen to order because they were trained to be perfect pets. Moreover, big cats are popular as pets among wealthy Arabs – they do not mind paying he sums to acquire such exotic pets that are difficult to obtain.
