Human traffickers smuggle people, harvest their organs and sell them in black market

#organsnatchers #humantrafficking #organharvesting The lid has been lifted on a racket of human traffickers who would smuggle people into Britain to harvest their organs and sell them in the black market. This has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 7 March 2015.
They are the organ snatchers.
It seems two people of African or Asian origin – one of them was a boy as young as 12 and the other a woman in her 30s – had been brought into Britain last year. They had been smuggled into Britain to have their organs removed and sold on the black market. This has been revealed in an official report and it reveals the extent human traffickers will go to make money from their dirty practices.
The racket survived on the global demand for human organs.
They were rescued by British police or immigration officials who suspected they were being trafficked. It brought out the fact that these weed instances of international people-smuggling.
Incidentally, the first incident of illegal ‘organ harvesting’ in Britain had been reported in 2011. Subsequently, two years later a Somalian girl was brought with the intention of removing her organs and selling them to patients who were desperate for a transplant.
According to statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO), as many as 7,000 kidneys are illegally obtained by gangs each year around the world. The demands are there for human organs like hearts, lungs and livers but, kidneys are the most sought-after organs. This is because one can transplant a kidney from a patient without any serious ill-effects.
