They have revealed that the attackers had a native accent and shouted "Allahu akbar" as they opened fire.

Those who lost their lives were between 35 and 70 years old and some of the wounded are in a critical condition and were taken to different hospitals across the city.
Police have arrested two people - one of them at the scene of the attack, the other in nearby d'Orleans, Quebec. Their identities have not been disclosed and the motive for the attack is being investigated.
