An Italian priest set the dress code for female parishioners, banned mini-skirts

Offended at the modern dress code that embraces skimpy outfits of the female parishioners who attend his church, a priest has issued written guidelines on the length of skirt to wear to church. This priest of the church at Gesico, Cagliari in Sardinia, has notified the acceptable dress code by displaying two drawings of what to wear.
The first photo shows a woman in a T-shirt and knee-length skirt that ends just above the knee. The second image shows a woman wearing a short top and mini-skirt – this has been marked through with a black cross which means ‘not acceptable’. According to Il Mattino, the skirt must reach and touch the knees – else the priest will throw her out.
Incidentally, a court in southern Italy had also banned entry to people who were ‘dressed indecently’ – the targets were those who wore transparent or low-cut tops, flip flops and mini-skirts.
