Two Americans gored by bulls in the San Fermin bull running festival

Two Americans and a Spaniard were gored and many more needed treatment at the hospital for injures received during the frantic and crowded bull San Fermin festival in Pamplona, Spain. run of thrill-seekers. several other people were injured Saturday during the second running of the bulls at this year's San Fermin festival in the northern Spanish city of Pamplona, officials said.
According to information, one of the seriously injured was a 22-year-old American while the other was another American, a 35-year-old whose condition is said to be stable.

All the bulls belonged to the same ranch which has the reputation of being unpredictable. The bulls covered the distance of 850-meter over the cobbled-street in just over four minutes. The average time normally taken is three minutes and it took one minute more because one bull had broken away from the rest and turned around.
The festival is a nine-day fiesta and attracts tens of thousands of partygoers from Spain and abroad.

Spanish police have arrested two suspected ISIS terrorists in Barcelona and Madrid - they were planning to carry out attacks in Spain. The Moroccan pair was 'dangerous' and 'directed and controlled' by the terror group, as revealed by Spanish Ministry of Interior officials.
The two men had isolated themselves from the rest of society and had limited their contact with the outside world through 'radical jihadist profiles' on the internet.

The two of them were held during dawn raids in the Spanish capital and Roda de Ter in the province of Barcelona which is an hour's drive north of the Catalan city. As indicated by a Spanish Ministry of Interior spokesman, the suspects were fully integrated into DAESH, and were following their instructions and their plans of actions.
Moreover, they were also active on the Internet and social media with the aim of radicalizing and recruiting new conscripts. Upon interrogation, they have disclosed a wealth of radical material including propaganda material designed to fill western societies with fear.
Their arrests brought the number of suspected Islamic terrorists held in Spain since the start of last year, when the country went onto a level 4 terror alert, to 215. It may be recalled that earlier this month four people suspected of trying to recruit so-called Caliphate Cubs - child soldiers as young as 12 to fight for ISIS - were held in Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta. And, last month two Muslim preachers accused of supporting ISIS were held in the Ibizan party resort of San Antonio.

Man slips while watching bull running in Spain and gored to death

A 36-year-old man was gored to death by a bull when he slipped and fell while watching the bull running at a popular Spanish festival in the nearby town of La Vilavella. The man was fatally injured after he slipped as the animal chased revelers.

It seems the man was standing by a barrier next to a bar when he was attacked and is said to have suffered damage to his carotid artery. He was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital from the scene. This was the first this year in a festival involving bulls in the province of Castellon.
Earlier this month a 13-year-old girl was gored at a festival in Museros which is a 40-minute drive from Valencia. She suffered a four-inch wound to her knee - she had managed to evade controls that were designed to stop under-16s from entering a fenced-off area where the animals chase down revelers.
This incident happened a day after a 15-year-old boy was gored in the nearby Costa Blanca holiday resort of Calpe. He, apparently, lost his footing as the animal charged towards him and suffered an injury to his left armpit.
In July a 29-year-old man died after being attacked by a heifer during an an annual festival in Pedreguer near Valencia and on July 16 a 47-year-old mother of two was gored to death by a heifer at a festival in Moratalla in Murcia, south east Spain, which she was attending with her family. She had tried to escape the animal behind railings after it was let loose in the streets but was caught on its horn, suffered a fatal injury to her abdomen and died a few hours later in hospital. It happened in full view of her husband and children.
