Kim Jong-un sounds the bugle for a nuclear war

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has sounded the bugle for a nuclear war and has demanded the country's nuclear weapons be made ready for use 'at any time'. He has also said that the communist country will revise its military posture in order to be able to carry out pre-emptive attacks. He has also stressed that the current situation has become very precarious.

Kim Jong-un has indicated that his people must always be ready to fire the nuclear warheads at any time and his announcement has come shortly after the United Nations Security Council passed a new sanctions resolution penalizing the country for its fourth nuclear test and long-range missile launch earlier in the year.
The nuclear threats of North Korea have come ahead of joint U.S.-South Korean war games this month that the North claims are invasion preparations.
Some of the measures is a new requirement that all countries must inspect cargo destined for and coming from North Korea, in all airports and sea ports. The resolution also bans or restricts exports of coal, iron and iron ore and other minerals from North Korea, and also prohibits the supply of aviation fuel including rocket fuel.
This is going to hurt because North Korea earns about $1billion every year through coal exports - a third of all export revenues - and about $200 million annually from iron ore sales.
US President Barack Obama welcomed the sanctions as 'a firm, united, and appropriate response' to the January 6 nuclear test and February 7 rocket launch. He has reiterated that North Korea must abandon these dangerous programs and choose a better path for its people.
The sanctions also cover banking restrictions and governments will be required to ban flights of any plane suspected of carrying contraband destined for North Korea. Moreover, UN member states will expel North Korean diplomats who may be engaged in smuggling or other illegal activities. And, a total of 16 individuals and 12 entities were added to a UN sanctions blacklist - these include North Korea's NADA space agency and its spy agency, the Reconnaissance General Bureau.

North Korea supremo Kim Jong-Un has defied the ban imposed on it by the UN and has test fired its newly deployed anti-ship rockets which are believed to have a range of 120-Km. This has happened only a few weeks after it had claimed to have tested a submarine-launched ballistic missile in the month of May.

Kim Jong-un witnessed the test-firing of three KN-01 short-range missiles from a site near the city of Wonsan, as indicated by South Korea's defense ministry. The 'highly intelligent' rockets were reportedly fired around 4.30pm and the process lasted 26 minutes.
This news is a reason for alarm because North Korea has been banned by the United Nations Security Council from testing or developing ballistic missiles.
Korean Central News Agency has revealed that the missiles had accurately detected and hit their targets but it was silent on the location where it took place. Neither has it provided any other details or specifications of the rockets.
A fully developed submarine missile capability would take North Korea’s nuclear threat to a new level, but in the opinion of experts, the authenticity of the May test is in doubt since the photos might have been digitally altered.

Ukraine's president Petro Poroshenko has cancelled a visit to Turkey because of "Russian troop deployments" in the country's east. Reports indicate that in the latest offensive, pro-Russian rebels have opened a new front in the south by seizing the coastal town of Novoazovsk bbc.com. NATO says that it has detected a significant increase of Russian arms being supplied to the rebels over the past two weeks whereas Russia has been continuously denying that its forces have crossed Ukraine's border.
As a result, the United Nations Security Council is planning to hold an emergency meeting in New York on Thursday at 18:00 GMT to discuss the crisis.
NATO Brigadier General Niko Tak has admitted that there had been a "significant escalation in the level and sophistication of Russia's military interference in Ukraine" over the past two weeks.
It seems NATO has detected large quantities of advanced weapons, including air defense systems, artillery, tanks, and armored personnel carriers that have been transferred to separatist forces in eastern Ukraine. Obviously, Russia is reinforcing and resupplying separatist forces in a blatant attempt to change the momentum of the fighting, which is currently favoring the Ukrainian military.
More than 1,000 Russian troops are reportedly operating inside Ukraine, both supporting the separatists and fighting on their side and, so far, at least 2,119 people have been killed in the four months of fighting.
