17 anti-corruption protesters in Mexico killed and dumped in mass grave

17 young anti-corruption protesters in Mexico were killed by hitmen following clashes with the local police and the dead bodies were dumped in a mass grave dailymail.co.uk – some of the bodies have been charred beyond recognition.
Thanks to some inside information provided by a man, the recently-discovered mass grave was unearthed. He apparently narrated how the 17 youths were rounded up and killed, then thrown in pits. The students had gone missing after a violent clash on September 26, and were marched to the site on the outskirts of Iguala, Guerrero state before they were killed. National Human Rights Commission of Mexico have begun its own investigation into the case for possible 'serious human rights abuses,' such as extrajudicial executions and forced disappearances by Iguala city police.
Reports indicate that the Police force that has been infiltrated by local drug cartels are believed to have abducted some of the students – this has been informed unofficially by a local security official.
The clashes had taken place in Iguala on the night of September 26 – it seems 30 people, including 22 police, have been arrested
