This has been reported in foxnews.com dated 18 August 2016.
The third bombing killed four soldiers in a military vehicle in southeast Turkey. The vehicle was returning from an operation in the mainly-Kurdish province of Bitlis when it was struck by a roadside bomb which was, reportedly, detonated by Kurdish rebels. A village guard was killed in clashes between security forces and the Kurdish rebels in a nearby village.
Earlier, a car bomb attack on a police station in the eastern province of Van late killed a police officer and two civilians and injured at least another 73 people — 53 of them were civilians and remaining 20 police officers. Some hours later, another car bomb hit police headquarters in the eastern Turkish city of Elazig. The death toll was three police office officers with another 146 wounded. At least 14 of them were in serious condition. The explosion happened on the grounds of the police headquarters and caused cars parked nearby to catch fire.
Fighting between the PKK and Turkey's security forces resumed last year following the collapse of a fragile peace process and, ever since, more than 600 Turkish security personnel and thousands of PKK militants have been killed. Many civilians have also died according to human rights groups.
