North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un does not like criticism – his critics get eliminated

Kim Jong-Un, the leader of North Koora, hates criticism and whosoever does criticize him or his policies, end up in the grave – it is immaterial whether the critic is his relative or a colleague. The latest casualty of Kim Jong-Un’s annoyance is 63-year-old Choe Yong Gon, the country’s Vice-Premier. He has reportedly been executed by firing squad after voicing discontent with the forestry policies of Kim Jong-Un, the country's young dictator.

He was executed within a year into his job and, it was carried out in the month of May. He has not been seen in public since December and Pyongyang has announced his replacement in July. The reason for his execution was for voicing discontent with the forestry policies of Kim Jong Un.
Earlier, Hyon Yong Chol, the Defence Minister, was reportedly blown apart by an antiaircraft gun in April because he had dozed off at a military parade. He was executed in front of a large crowd of officials to set an example to others.
It may be recalled that the dictator's uncle, Jang Song Thaek, had been killed in 2013 after being charged with treason and corruption. Moreover, many other officials are believed to have been killed since Kim Jong-Un took over the reins after the death of his father, Kim Jong Il, in 2011.

As per her narrative, she was forced to clean out filthy toilets with her bare hands and the people ate rats in a desperate attempt to survive. The worst part is that people are all hungry and the stocks of rats, snakes or wild plants have practically vanished.
Ji-hyun Park had spent a year inside the Chongjin labor camp which is one of the notorious detention camps of North Korea after she was deported from China as an 'economic defector' - she had fled to China to escape starving to death. In her words, the whole of North Korea is one big prison.
While recalling the North Korean famine of the late 1990s, she said that plenty of people died between 1996 and 1998 and the dead bodies would be littered on the railway platforms.
Ji-hyun first left North Korea during the famine of the 1990s that ravaged the country and it is estimated that over four million people died in the famine. At that time, the country was ruled by Kim Jong-il, the father of Kim Jong-un, the present ruler.
The woman Ji-hyun now lives in Manchester with her partner and four children and she is gradually rebuilding her life after her experiences in the labor camps.

Yeonmi Park is 21-year-old refugee of North Korea and, while speaking at One Young World Summit 2014 in Dublin, she has described her country as the ‘darkest country in the world’ dailymail.co.uk.

Present on the occasion were Kofi Annan, Sir Bob Geldof, the former Mexican president Vicente Fox, and Dame Ellen MacArthur, the world record-breaking sailor.
Yeonmi Park was born on October 4 1993 in Hyesan – this is a notoriously cold river port along North Korea’s 850-mile northern border with China and she was abducted at birth, even before she knew the words freedom or human rights.
When she was just nine years old, she was invited to watch the mother of her friend be publicly shot because she had dared to watch a Hollywood movie.
Yeonmi Park has been robbed of her youth, innocence and freedom and has, at last, spoken out against her native North Korea from where she has managed to escape.
In the course of her emotionally charged speech, she has narrated a harrowing tale about what life was like for her family and friends under the barbaric and oppressive regime of Kim Jong-il.

She has called for a global movement to throw light on this country where the internet is banned, along with songs, books, international phone-calls and voicing basic opinions and people live in constant fear of the brutal consequences that await them if they dare to step out of line.
