ISIS engineered twin blasts kill at least 41 in Beirut shopping center

ISIS engineered twin blasts have killed at least 41 in Beirut shopping center. The location was a busy shopping street in a Beirut stronghold of the Shiite movement Hezbollah and is believed to be the worst such attack in years.
This has been reported in zeenews.india.com dated 13 November 2015.
As indicated by Health Minister Wael Abou Faour, more than 200 people had been wounded, many of them in serious condition. The blasts appeared to be a return to a campaign of attacks that had targeted the group's strongholds between 2013 and 2014. The attacks were in revenge for its military support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The blasts took place in a narrow shopping street in the Burj al- Barajneh neighborhood which is also home to a street market.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the blasts in an online statement. The explosives had been planted on a motorbike in an area frequented by Shiites.
The attacks were carried out by two suicide bombers and the body of a third, who had failed to detonate his explosive device, had been found at the scene of the second blast.

Japanese tourist raped in Jaipur by her guide

#japanesetourist #tourguide #jaipur #pinkcity This is the shocking story of a 20-year-old Japanese tourist who was raped by her guide in Jaipur, the Pink City as reported in japantoday.com dated 10 February 2015. This is yet another sex attack on a foreign tourist in India and creates embarrassment for those who swear by the ‘Incredible India’ campaign that invites tourists to visit India to enjoy her rich heritage.
As per reports, the tourist had met the accused near a hotel after arriving in Jaipur. The 25-year-old man introduced himself as a tour guide and agreed to take her around the city on her motorbike during the day.
They also went to a few places after which they took some food and he had laced the food with drugs. Later the accused offered to drop her at the hotel in the evening but, instead, took her to a desolate area and committed the crime. The screams of the victim alerted the locals and the man fled.
The woman has undergone medical examination and is helping the police to identify the rapist. The Japanese embassy was also gathering information about the attack.
Obviously, this shameful incident is another blow to the country’s tourism industry. Britain and France have already revised their travel advisories for India last January and has warned tourists headed for India about the risk of sexual attacks following several instances of rape of foreigners.
